Kiosko and Plaza de Espana Walls, Hagatna

This project involved the rehabilitation of the Kiosko roof and the stabilization of the walls of the Plaza de Espana that were damaged by the 1993 earthquake. The Kiosko, once the focal point for the public gatherings and the site of regular performances by the U.S Navy band, continues to be used as the site of inauguration ceremonies. The Kiosko was completed and opened to the public in February 1996 during which the U.S. Navy band conducted one of its last performance s on Guam before decommissioned.
